Lights, Camera, Auction!
Please join the faculty and staff of Escuela del
Sol at Picture Show, our 18th Annual gala auction
on Saturday, April 12 at the Albuquerque Museum of Art.
Put on your glitter and glam for a walk down the
red carpet leading you to a silent noir auction with hundreds of
items to bid on. Choose from jewelry, art, services, gift certificates
of all manner, clothing, home furnishings and more! Then onto an
enticing catered dinner, followed by the Live Action Auction, starring
travel opportunities, classroom projects, timeshares, condos, rugs
and furniture.
A fun time for all, we look forward to seeing you
at the pictures!
For anyone interested in being a producer, please
join the rest of the production staff at our next meeting, Tuesday,
April 1 at 6:30pm in the Senior Elementary classroom. We need help
with set-up and clean-up, decorations, donations and check-out.
All help is greatly appreciated!
After School Activities
It's not too late to join either the Chess Cub,
or our After School Art Classes. Chess Club is held on Tuesdays
from 3:15-4:45 in the Harwood Dining Hall. Art Classes are Tuesday
& Thursday from 4-5:30pm in the Senior Elementary Art Room.
Registration forms are available in Cindi's office
on the main floor of the "old" adobe building. Please
stop by the office or call Elizabeth Marcilla at 242-3033 with any
questions.
Escuela del Sol Montessori State Accredited
Head of School Ms. Friedje vanGils is pleased to announce that Escuela del Sol Montessori earned accreditation from the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), making our school State Accredited.
